Mayor Thomas McMahon, City of Reading, Pennsylvania and Charles Jones, Public Works Director announced that beginning tomorrow, February 17, 2010, Public Works will be collecting all furniture and other items used to reserve parking spaces. All items collected will be destroyed.

NEW! HOURS FOR THE CITY OF READING TAX OFFICE ARE CHANGING!
In an effort to increase the efficiency by which we serve the public, the Tax Administration of the City of Reading has changed the hours when we are open to the public. Beginning Tuesday, February 9th, 2010, The Tax Administration Division will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am to 4pm and will be closed to the public Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Any citizen needing tax assistance is encouraged to contact the Customer Service Center at 877-727-3234.
