COMMERCE BANK READING CLASSIC PRESS CONFERENCE

TUESDAY, MAY 13, 2008 – 10:00 AM

WHAT: City officials, race organizers, sponsors and riders will come together on Tuesday, May 13th to kick-off the 2008 Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling and to announce new details of the Commerce Bank Reading Classic which will take place on Thursday, June 5, 2008.

The Commerce Bank Reading Classic is the second leg of the Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling which includes races in Lehigh Valley on June 3rd and Philadelphia on June 8th and features the best male and female pro cycling athletes in the world.

City Of Reading To Begin Health And Safety Inspections June 1, 2008

April 7, 2008:  City officials announced today that the new Health and Safety Inspections required by City of Reading ordinance will begin on June 1, 2008.

Under the ordinance, within six months of the settlement or transfer of any residential or mixed residential/commercial real estate property in the City of Reading, property owners will be required to apply for their inspection.  The processing fee for residential structures will start at $150.00 and the inspections will be performed by City of Reading Codes Enforcement Inspectors. Consumer information forms are under development by the City of Reading Codes staff.  Forms will be available beginning on May 10, 2008, by contacting the City of Reading Codes Office at 610-655-6079 or on the City’s website.
